1.7.9 DeployStudio Server
Right, so we’ve got that out the way, let’s get on with the guide.
To all Faculty and Staff who have upgraded their Mac to OS 10.13 or who have received a new Mac running OS 10.13, please read the following:
Please submit a workorder for assistance with upgrading your Mac’s iPrint client software to Version 6.0.9 and Symantec antivirus to the latest release available from the Rutgers Antivirus Delivery Service (RADS).
25. Select your newly created NBI and restart machine.
This is much easier now with 10.13.4, which has updated asr restore to handle some of the tasks needed when restoring an image to iMac Pro.

sudo bless folder /System/Library/CoreServices setBoot - This will write new boot blocks, and the setBoot makes it set boot-device in the firmware for you.

14. Back to DS Assistant and select Create DS NetBoot set and continue.
Setting up DeployStudio
The reason I told DS to use a local file repository instead of a network share is because if I specified a network share, then that address is hardcoded into the on the NBI. I have multiple remote sites and would rather have just one NBI that I can shove out to the remote sites, I can then have a script that runs at boot thanks to launchd and mounts the correct file share repository based on IP address. We know that at each remote site we have a file server at x.x.x.20 so it is trivial to get our IP address strip off the last octet and replace it with 20 and then use that IP address to mount our network share into /Volumes/DS_Repo ready for DeployStudio to access.

To address the issue, they released a new version of DeployStudio but didn’t change the version number from 1.7.3. Instead, the new DeployStudio 1.7.3 has a different build number:
